It’s possible to map any plugin parameter to any MainStage midi controller, which makes MainStage extremely flexible and exciting to use live. Here’s how to map parameters for real time control: 

1. Open MainStage. Select a concert you’d like to use. 

2. Click on the on screen parameter you’d like to map to a plugin, then click “Assign and Map” in the RH corner of the window. 

3. Open up the plugin you want to map. Click on the control, and move it around. It should now be mapped.

4. Make sure to click the “Assign and Map” button when you’re finished to avoid accidentally mapping a parameter.
