Hard Work Vs. Hard Decisions

Hard work is what most people value. Most people when they think of a great employee/entrepreneur/boss picture this kind of work ethic. Long hours + big effort = successful person.

Hard decisions is another animal. When most people think of hard decisions, we picture tough, career-altering choices that we might have to make three or four times a lifetime.

In reality, most of the hard decisions are made every day. How do I spend my time? Is this opportunity convenient or actually important? Am I using my time well or poorly? Should I rest or work? These are the hard decisions that we actually have to make on a regular basis.

We all know hard work is wonderful (and essential) to a successful career. But without partnering hard decision-making we quickly get mired in burnout.
